You will be in awe of this beautiful fifty room castle, the home of Colonel William H. Morgan. The castle sits on fifty acres and was finished in 1909. Named for Morgan’s father’s birthplace in Wales, you will feel as if you are standing in the British Isles.

A Restored federal-style building built in 1837 and each room is decorated in period furnishings. You will enjoy a lunch of Shepherd’s Pie, Bubbles and Squeak (English fried cabbage and red skin mashed potatoes). Other entrees are available. After lunch sit back and relax and enjoy a visit with our costumed Matilda Larsen, an Edwardian lady from 1905 who will share tales of life during Queen Victoria’s reign. Learn how customs and practices of the Victorian Age still influence the world today.
After lunch, stroll with your costumed guide down Plymouth Street and the famous “Brick Row” featuring a cluster of ten National Historic Register buildings. Get the feel of a small New England Town. Tour Hanover House, a restored, furnished saltbox style house built in 1820. Tour includes morning restroom stop with a snack & afternoon shopping at Fruit Farm Market.
